Credits & Billing

Every AI call — text and image — is deducted from your workspace balance and written to your usage ledger, so spend is always transparent and attributable to a step.

How it's metered

• Text (ideas, selection, deep dive, KV directions, materials, brief assists) is billed by token usage against the model's rate.
• Images (rough sketches and finished key visuals) are billed per render, at the image provider's rate.
• Every charge is logged with the step label, model, tokens, and latency.

Watching spend

Your balance and recent usage are on the Billing page. Credits come from your monthly plan and renew each month (unused credits don't roll over). When the balance runs low you'll see a prompt to upgrade, and a low-balance email is sent once as you cross the threshold. Plans can be upgraded anytime, not downgraded. Admins set per-model credit rates and grant credits from the backoffice.
